Our office at 1533 Grove St in Marysville is a short trip south, and Dr. Ben Choi welcomes patients from Arlington, Smokey Point, and the surrounding area.

We don't have an Arlington location. Everything happens at our Marysville office, so you'll know exactly where to go every visit.

About Dr. Choi

Dr. Ben Choi, DMD, MSD, is a periodontist. That means his specialty training is in the gums, the bone that holds your teeth in place, and dental implants. How We Can Help

When your gums bleed or feel sore

Gums that bleed when you brush, feel tender, or seem to be pulling away from your teeth are worth getting checked. Gum disease is a bacterial infection that can slowly damage the bone around your teeth. Dr. Choi is a LANAP® certified periodontist. LANAP is a laser approach that removes infected tissue without cutting or stitches. He also uses a tiny camera called a perioscope to clean below the gumline, and offers deep cleanings and other treatments when those fit better. Read about our periodontal care.

When your gums have receded

If a tooth looks longer than it used to, or cold drinks make it twinge, your gumline may have shrunk back. A gum graft adds tissue to cover the exposed root, which protects the tooth and evens out your smile. How gum grafts work.

When a tooth is missing

A dental implant replaces the root of a lost tooth, so the new tooth feels steady when you chew. We plan each implant with 3D imaging, place it in our Marysville office, and then work with your own dentist on the crown that goes on top. Dental implants at our office.

Getting Here from Arlington

From downtown Arlington, the most direct way is south on SR-9. As you get close to Marysville, turn west onto 84th St NE, then follow 67th Ave NE south to Grove St. It's about 12 miles. If you'd rather take the freeway, head west on SR-530 to I-5, go south to the Marysville exits, and follow State Ave to Grove St. That route is about 14 miles.

Yes. We handle the gum and implant care, and your Arlington dentist keeps doing your checkups, cleanings, and crowns. We send them updates so nobody is guessing.
