Full-Arch Dental Implants in Marysville, WA

A full set of new teeth, carefully planned in 3D, with temporary teeth on surgery day.

If you're missing many teeth, living with failing teeth, or tired of a loose denture, full-arch dental implants (often called All-on-X) can give you a fixed set of teeth that stays in place. Dr. Ben Choi, DMD, MSD, is a periodontist, a specialist in gums, bone, and dental implants. He plans each case in 3D and works with your own dentist from start to finish.

Is Full-Arch Treatment Right for You?

Full-arch implants may be worth talking about if:

• Many of your teeth are worn down, broken, stained, or loose
• You have several large crowns, bridges, or fillings that keep failing
• You're missing many teeth and have gaps that make chewing hard
• You wear a denture that slips, rubs, or keeps you from foods you love
• You hide your smile in photos or when you talk
• You've been told you'll eventually lose most of your remaining teeth

The best way to know is a consultation. Dr. Choi will look at your teeth, gums, and bone and talk with you about all of your options, not just implants.

What Are Full-Arch Dental Implants?

Instead of replacing teeth one at a time, a full-arch approach uses a small number of implants to hold a whole row of teeth, upper, lower, or both. The teeth are fixed to the implants, so they don't come out at night like a denture.

"All-on-X" simply means the number of implants ("X") is chosen for you, based on your bone and your bite. Some people need four, some need more. Dr. Choi decides that during your 3D planning.

How It Works, Step by Step

1. Consultation and 3D planning
We start with a conversation about your goals and an exam. A 3D (CBCT) scan lets Dr. Choi see your bone and important structures such as nerves. He then plans where each implant will go on the computer and designs your new teeth on top, before surgery day.

Every implant is planned in 3D before surgery, positioned to stay clear of the nerve, with your new teeth designed right on top.

2. Surgery day, with same-day temporary teeth
On the day of surgery, Dr. Choi places your implants following the 3D plan. The goal is for you to go home with fixed temporary teeth that same day, so you're not left without teeth while you heal. We'll go over comfort options with you ahead of time.

3. About 3 months of healing
Over roughly three months, your implants bond with your bone. You'll wear your temporary teeth during this time and come in for check-ups so we can make sure everything is healing well.

4. Final teeth with your dentist
Once you've healed, your own general dentist (your referring dentist) makes and delivers your final teeth. You stay connected to the dentist you know and trust. If you don't have a dentist right now, just let us know and we can help you find one to work with.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does full-arch treatment take?
After your consultation and 3D planning, implants are placed on surgery day, usually with temporary teeth the same day. Healing takes about three months, and then your dentist delivers your final teeth. Dr. Choi will give you a timeline for your own case.

Does it hurt?
It's normal to wonder. Before surgery, we'll discuss comfort options with you, and we'll give you clear instructions for recovery at home. Our team is always a phone call away if you have questions while you heal.

Will I leave with teeth on surgery day?
That's the goal for most full-arch cases: you go home with fixed temporary teeth the same day. Dr. Choi will confirm during planning whether same-day teeth are right for you.

What about my regular dentist?
Your dentist stays part of your care. After about three months of healing, your general dentist delivers your final teeth. If you don't currently have a dentist, we can help you coordinate with one.

How much does it cost, and do you offer financing?
Every case is different, so cost depends on your plan. We'll give you a clear treatment plan at your consultation, and our office manager will review payment plans and financing options with you.

What's the difference between "All-on-4" and "All-on-X"?
Many people search for "All-on-4." That name refers to one specific approach that uses four implants. "All-on-X" is a general term: the number of implants is chosen for you based on your bone and bite. Dr. Choi will recommend the number that fits your plan.
